Yoga Sita owner Alex’s classes draw on her many areas of training & practice including traditional yoga, embodied movement, breath work, meditation & philosophy. Through Alex’s strong yet compassionate guidance you will experience a balance of physical challenge as well as deep rest and relaxation, uniting body, mind & spirit leaving you feeling more connected to yourself & to life. Different variations & options are offered during class to cater for all levels.

FEMININE FLOW YOGA

A class specifically designed to nourish the physical, mental and emotional health of women.

Through Alex’s extensive training and practice in both traditional yoga and feminine embodiment, intuitive movement and dance she has artfully created Feminine Flow Yoga to guide women into the inherent wisdom of their own body. Connecting to their inner knowing and leading from the heart instead of the mind.
 
Feminine Flow Yoga is designed to assist women in cultivating a healthy, more in tune relationship with their bodies and inner rhythms. Generating greater freedom, confidence, pleasure and joy, in turn deepening the ever important relationship with self.
 
You can expect to be guided through a well balanced experience of effort and ease through fluid creative movement and embodied meditation. Suitable and accessible for women of all body types and fitness levels.

YIN & RESTORATIVE YOGA

Yin yoga targets the connective tissues in the body, releasing deep held tensions by holding supported postures for extended periods of time. Restorative yoga targets the nervous system allowing deep relaxation & restoration. A class to soothe, comfort & rest the body, mind & soul.

YOGA WITH SELENA

A well balanced class, combining Pranayama (breath work), a variety of Asana (yoga postures), relaxation and meditation. Selena’s friendly nature and nurturing style gives students the ability & confidence to strengthen and deepen their practice both physically & mentally. Suitable for all levels.
