We offer a holistic and individualised approach addressing both the physical and philosophical practices of yoga, enabling a greater connection to the potential that you are! Yoga Sita provides an encouraging and welcoming environment for all ages and levels of experience in the styles of Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative Yoga in our Bibra Lake based studio.

Living with Anxiety ~ 4 Week Women’s Embodiment Course

Anxiety is something close to Yoga Sita owner Alex’s heart as it is a feeling that has deeply affected her life, happiness and relationship to others. Her desire is to provide a deeper understanding of anxiety to other women who are also suffering, offering ways in which she has learnt to understand, manage and listen to it’s challenging symptoms.

Some of which are:

As women living in this modern world there can be such a huge amount of pressure we place on ourselves in all areas of our lives: work, children, friendships, intimate relationships and the list goes on. It can be easy to forget number one – YOU, and Alex truly believes everything stems from the relationship and understanding we have with ourselves.

Through this offering she will be sharing and exploring ways in which we can re-connect to the innate wisdom of the body and the present moment. To make friends with our anxiety and learn from it rather than suppress the feeling and look for quick fixes which in the long term can create greater damage. Using her personal experiences & training in feminine embodiment practices, breathwork, movement, yoga, meditation and self-expression we will together empower ourselves to meet and deal with this often-debilitating experience of anxiety. In turn opening ourselves up to greater freedom, peace and ease within ourselves and our lives.

Bhakti Kirtan with Yogi Dev Singh

We are happy to welcome Yogi Dev Singh to Yoga Sita for an evening of Bhakti Kirtan – Welcoming you home to your heart.

Friday 14 December | 6.15pm – 8.15pm

Mysticism with Bhakti Kirtan is referred to as Bhakti Yoga. It is known as the Yoga of Devotion, also explained as the longing to the Divine. Kirtan is one of the tools been used to practice Bhakti yoga. It is non-denominational, the universal language of the heart, the song of the union.

Chanting is the core of Bhakti yoga. The magic of vibrating and chanting comes alive when voices merge together to become one voice. The union of voices and frequencies taking you inwards to a place of union and self awareness.

About Yogi Dev Singh:
Dev Singh was born in Chandigarh, northern India. His early childhood was strongly influenced by various classical Indian music gurus and at the young age, he started his musicology studies. He has followed the ancient tradition of Guru-Shishya system (an intimate master-student relationship), in
which the Guru passes knowledge through the spiritual, intellectual and emotional bond between them.
This early education included the history of Indian classical music and understanding the complex rhythmic and melodic structures (called Ragas). Across his learning years, Dev Singh’s teachers (Gurus) introduced him to spiritual and healing aspects of Indian classical music, which included music (Nada, Mantras), Kirtan and meditative (Dhyana) Yoga.

Relax & Restore Bali Retreat

Join Alex and Tim to unwind and deeply rest, relax and restore at our 5 day yoga and meditation retreat in Ubud Bali.

The busyness of our modern lifestyles creates excess strain on our stress levels, nervous systems and overall health. Therefore it is so vital that we take time out to reset. To disconnect from our ‘to do’s’ and experience stillness, peace and the joy of simply ‘being’.

Our retreat is held at the stunning Ananda Cottages, Ubud Bali. Summer Bliss Retreat

Our Summer Bliss Retreat in Denmark is back again on the long weekend 1 -4 March 2019! Situated in one of the most scenic locations in South West WA. Our accommodation sits literally on the banks of the Wilson inlet, surrounded by the tranquil karri forest.

Alexandra began practicing yoga as a teenager over 13 years ago to assist with her own back issues and soon realised the vast benefits yoga has on the body as well as mental and emotional health. Alex has completed various trainings including a Bachelor of Exercise and Health Science, Diploma in Dance, Yoga teacher training in the ISHTA lineage with Tamara Yoga, various yoga trainings with Laughing Lotus NYC and emotional and energetic bodywork training with Eliyah School of the Tantric Feminine Arts. The impact these teachings and practices have had on her life makes Alexandra extremely passionate about sharing them with the world in a nurturing, compassionate and gentle way. Creating Yoga Sita to share the magic of yoga with others is her privilege and absolute joy.
